Now that the mobility week in Poland is over, it’s time to launch the 2nd phase of the F2L (Freedom to learn) Erasmus+ Project with our students.
We started by discussing ‘How can we learn?’. Students reacted by showing traffic light cards to statements like: ‘Learning happens only if there is a teacher’ and ‘The teacher can answer any question I ask him’. We went through a process of realising that learning happens in different ways and in different settings, that is, not only through the teacher and not only at school. We explored topics that could be of interest to start working on in the next weeks.
F2L is about the teacher taking the role of a facilitator. It is about empowering students and giving them the urge to learn with the methods and means they choose, helping them become independent learners and prospective active citizens.
