Fantastic Fingerprints

This week our science teacher mentioned fingerprints during the lesson and we became very curious to know more about them.

So during another lesson with our teacher we experimented and learned about fingerprints!

We watched videos and learned that there are 3 different patterns of fingerprints: arch, loop and swirl. We also learned that we all have our own unique fingerprints!

It was so much fun when we tried our own fingerprints and discovered what patterns we had.

By the way, it’s true, no one in class had the same exact fingerprint!

Then we tried to discover more about them by looking up online and we learned how important they are in helping the police catch criminals.

We also learned an interesting fact: koalas have fingerprints too and they look very similar to a human’s fingerprint!
