Our teacher told us to vote for our favourite fruit from a list of different fruits. We all voted for our favourite one and we learned that our voting was recorded using tally marks.  The teacher then asked us to work in pairs and use straws to display tallies that match the given number card.

Our favourite activity was when we went to the playground to observe different means of transport. We spent some minutes recording, using tally marks,  how many cars, buses, bikes and motorbikes passed by.
