Our Own Game

Due to the limited space we have in our school we have to alternate the use of the yard with other classes in year 3 and 4. We decided we needed to fill our time more and invented a game.

Not to use newly bought materials we thought the best option was to use recycled materials.

Step 1

We chose teams to do different stages of the game. Therefore we took everyone’s best abilities and utilised them to their best.

Step 2

In groups we chose a group leader who would organise the work and co ordinate with the other groups to see how we can all best contribute.

Step 3

The first group to work was that that had to make the rules of the game. Each group had to see what resources we had to base the game and rules on those.

Step 4

When the rules were established and written out instructions were given to each group to work.

Each group leader had to co ordinate what he needed with the amount of persons in each group. Also everyone had to contribute utilising his talents and lend a hand.

Step 5

When all the work was done we had evaluation to see what went wrong, how we could improve it and also after trying out the game some rules had to be re-evaluated.

Step 6

When it rains or we stay indoors we now have a new game to play.
