Having fun researching!

This week it was all about learning how to look for information.

We had the topic of animals and we chose to focus on Lions. We thought that the teacher was going to teach us all about lions. However, we were surprised when she said that we had to learn all about them on our own. In fact the teacher said that it was going to be our turn to teach her something about this amazing animal.

Before we started, the teacher explained something important to us. She told us and showed us that when we are looking for information by reading books or using the internet, it is important to choose only what is important to us.

We were very excited to start looking for information and learning about lions. The teacher gave us a blank white paper so we could take notes of any important information we may find. We switched on our tablets and started searching! We watched videos, read ebooks and also searched websites.

It was amazing how many new things we learned. After finishing our research, it was time to share what we found. Many of us managed to find different information, so we were interested to listen to one another and learn from each other.

This lesson was so much fun! We realised that we can learn anything we want if we know how to look for the right information.
