Captain’s Meeting

This week we talked and learned a lot about pirates! For one of the activities we went to the school library, read some pirate facts and discussed some questions related to them. At times we had to put ourselves in the pirates’ shoes and think about how we would have handled different situations. We were very interested in the subject and kept on learning about them all week. Some of us even chose some books about pirates from the school library! Our favourite pirate is Blackbeard, although some of the girls prefer Grace O’Malley from Ireland! We learned about Grace O’Malley thanks to Maryia who brought a book about extraordinary women in history. It does not matter if you are a boy or a girl you can achieve whatever your heart desires!
