During one of our outings we managed to take our mindfulness experience to a new level. We did find contact with nature and made the most of it. We had the opportunity to find a quiet place, close our eyes, follow our teacher’s instructions and became one with nature. It was relaxing, peace and beauty. The teacher asked for simple concentration steps and we were able to connect with nature. We had the opportunity not only to feel the sun on our skin, but also feel the air, hear the birds and the rush of the sea. It was a rewarding experience and we managed to relax while enjoying ourselves. It is a very simple exercise which helps us relax and concentrate on our everyday activities easier.
Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment through a gentle nurturing lens.
